Build your own freeskate

Under construction!!!

You can build your own freeskate. It is neither hard or expensive and it is made in a few hours.

The Runners

Cut off two 45cm, and two 35cm long pieces from the 50x5mm flat iron. Sharpen one longside with a sharpener. Use some kind machine for this. I used a super grinder to do the rough part, an a sharpener to make it fine. If you use a super grinder make sure to move it all the time while grinding or the edge will not get straight.
It is important that this is done properly, else the freeskate will skid. Try to keep it straight and make it really sharp.

Make the rounded front with a saw or a super grinder.
Drill the holes. For the front runners (the short ones), make them fit on the wheel axle on the truck. For the back runners, make them fit the M12 bults.

Enlarging back runner width

This will enlarge the distance between the back runners to about 50cm instead of the truck's 15cm. This makes the freeskate more stable and helps it from "going on one runner". There are two ways to achive this.
Make a new part and replace the original wheelaxle.
Make a new part and mount it on the original wheelaxle.
To make a replacement part is probably harder, and to be honest, I don't know if it is better. I made a new "wheelaxle" with a rectangular iron tube. The other method is to mount a 50cm long angular iron with clam cleats directly on to the truck's original wheelaxle. In the ends of the angular iron mount a
